Celebrating her achievements, the Society of Critical Care Medicine awarded Angelica's care team the ICU Heroes Award, highlighting the exemplary teamwork and patient-family collaboration in her care.<br /><br />Now, beyond pursuing her singing career, Angelica is an advocate for sepsis awareness and supports organizations like the Sepsis Alliance, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and the National Kidney Foundation. Her journey from a critically ill child to a national sensation exemplifies resilience, the power of family support, and the impact of comprehensive healthcare.
