This effort has provided 68 million doses of crucial medications to over 800 health facilities in Ukraine, addressing the acute healthcare needs amid the conflict.<br /><br />SCCM is also focusing on specific health concerns, such as the increased rates of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and disruption of polio outbreak control. The organization emphasizes the vulnerability of pregnant women, children, and those with chronic conditions.<br /><br />To enhance healthcare support, SCCM offers free online training and resources, including access to educational materials in Ukrainian. Additionally, SCCM and Direct Relief have distributed over $800,000 in grants to identified hospitals in need, enabling the purchase of medical supplies and services.<br /><br />SCCM President Sandra L. Kane-Gill highlighted the importance of their mission to deliver high-quality care during these critical times.
