The Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) supports recommendations that will promote lifelong learning through continuing education. Physicians

Designation Statement: The Society of Critical Care Medicine designates this online educational activity for a maximum of 15 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Pharmacists
The Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This symposium will provide 15 continuing education hours (0236-0000-21-201-H01-P).
SCCM reports to a continuing pharmacy education (CPE) tracking service, CPE Monitor, which will authenticate and store data for completed CPE units received by pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, using your National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) member number and date of birth. You are responsible for providing accurate information to SCCM. CPE Monitor will authenticate and store data for completed CPE units received by pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. The tracking system will make CPE data for each participant available to the state boards of pharmacy where the participant is licensed or registered. After CPE units are processed by ACPE and NABP, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians will be able to log in to a comprehensive electronic profile to access information about their completed CPE.
Nurses
The Society of Critical Care Medicine is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider No. 8181, for 15 contact hours.
Successful completion of this continuing medical education (CME) activity, which includes completion of the post-assessment survey and evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 15 medical knowledge maintenance of certification (MOC) points in the following boards’ MOC programs:
Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education for the purpose of granting MOC credit. To obtain MOC credit, complete the session credit and complete the post assessment survey at MySCCM.org.
