Multiprofessional Critical Care Review (MCCR): Adult smart course offers an unmatched opportunity to learn online and in person, with multiple study groups held throughout the United States. Prepare for your critical care board examinations or acquire in-depth clinical knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

Receive the most comprehensive review and update of the diagnosis, monitoring, and management of critically ill adult patients through SCCM’s Multiprofessional Critical Care Review: Adult (MCCR: Adult) smart course. Earn up to 43.75 hours of CE/accredited continuing education. Maintenance of certification points are also available.

Estimated time for activity completion: 35 hours for online lectures, 8.75 hours for live study group, total: 43.75

The smart course includes:

  • 35 hours of critical care presentations by expert faculty (It is strongly recommended that you watch these presentations before participating in the study group to obtain the most benefit.)
  • 8.75 hours of in-person study groups with critical care leaders and peers
  • Accurate assessments of your knowledge in critical care
  • Comprehensive Critical Care: Adult, Second Edition, eBook
  • An adult ICU quick reference guide

Attend live, in-person study groups located throughout the United States. Don’t miss an opportunity to gather in person and learn from faculty and peers.The study groups provides participants with opportunities to:

  • Learn proven strategies for examination preparation
  • Review sample board examination content
  • Learn clinical skills to improve patient outcomes
  • Spend valuable time networking with peers and subject matter experts
  • Participate in case-based discussions
Review the software/hardware and internet requirements:

To provide due process in the evaluation and mediation of grievances concerning ACE activities, this Grievance Procedures Policy was developed. Grievances may concern, but are not limited to, the awarding of credit for individual participation and/or registration fees issues.

  • A written complaint or grievance should be submitted to the Education Department.
  • The Education Department will attempt to resolve the grievance of the complainant.
  • If the initial response is unsatisfactory to the complainant, the matter will be referred to the CEO/EVP for action.
  • If the response from the CEO/EVP is unsatisfactory to the complainant, the matter will be referred to the SCCM Executive Committee. The ruling of the Executive Committee will be final.
